Sgt. Rodes Marson sat on his desk. He was staring at a picture of his little sister. Sighing, he placed the photograph back on his desk, waiting for his next mission.   “Sgt. Marson! Sgt. Marson, to the general’s office stat!”   Rodes leapt out of his chair and headed straight to the general’s office, where the large man sat, waiting. “Anyone tell you you’re often late, Marson?” Rodes just sat staring. “Not one for small talk, eh? Me neither. The mission, then.”

Hiatus (The first of many)

For those who haven't been told, I have a few things keeping me busy at school. Work is starting to actually require EFFORT from me, and I'm the story editor in the school play. Due to this, my brain is unable to contemplate anything for my story. Fortunately, by the time I created my account, I had just finished the fourth chapter. What's more, I only have about 20 days of school left, so I should be able to get in a few more chapters. I may even be able to hold myself to a schedule of a chapter a month! (Don't hold your breath...)
